North Delta Canada Day Parade

Share your love for Delta Sungod Swim Club with our community by joining us in the North Delta Canada Day parade. We will have DSSC swimmers and families walking, handing out postcards and stickers along the route.

All kids must wear a DSSC shirt. Ideally parents walking will wear a DSSC shirt or plain navy blue shirt.

Check-in Times and Locations:
Drop Off Location: North Delta Secondary School main parking lot

Drop off time: 2:00pm

Check in with our leader when you arrive. If you are dropping off swimmers, be prepared to meet them at Burnsview Secondary School at approximately 4:30pm (depending on our position in the parade.)

Parade Start Time and Routing:

• The parade starts at 3:00pm
• The parade will begin at 114 Street and 82 Avenue in North Delta, heading west towards 112th Street. The parade will then head south along 112th Street, finishing in front of Burnsview Secondary School.
• Once the parade is over, please disburse quickly off 112h to not delay road openings

NOTE: Ensure you are appropriately dressed for rain or shine (including sun protection and footwear.) Please ensure your group members bring water

During the parade - do not let any gap develop between you and the group in front of you. Keep moving, even if you are distributing items along the way.
