DSSC Volunteer Training Fair

Learn how to volunteer at swim meets and gain volunteer points at our first ever volunteer fair. We have scheduled timer's clinics in English, Mandarin, and Punjabi/Hindi as well as a few other specialized clinics. And we'll have snacks!

Our goal is to have at least one person from each family attend. Please help us achieve this goal by signing up as soon as possible.

How to choose which clinic to attend:

1. If you've never taken a timer's clinic: choose one of the timer's clinics (English, Punjabi/Hindi, or Mandarin)

2. If you've taken the timer's clinic: choose the stroke & turn clinic

3. If you've taken the stroke & turn clinic AND worked at least one meet as a stroke & turn official, sign up for one of the following:

a) Chief Timekeeper: If you like to work with people and keep them organized

b) Chief Finish Judge / Chief Judge Electronics: if you like to work behind the scenes and are good with computers

c) Starter: if you like to be in front of everyone and are calm under pressure

Other family members (e.g. grandparents, aunts/uncles, older siblings) are also welcome to sign up. We also welcome swimmers 14 and older to take the timer's clinic. You'll receive 5 PP points for each person that attends a clinic.

NOTE: the fair is at the ND Rec Centre (not Sungod): 11415 84 Ave, Delta
