Delta Family Day Parade

Share your love for Delta Sungod Swim Club with our community! We've signed up for the Family Day parade. We will have DSSC swimmers and families walking, handing out postcards and stickers along the route.

All kids must wear a DSSC shirt. Ideally parents walking will wear a DSSC shirt or plain navy blue shirt. See the team website for more details.

Check-in Times and Locations:
Drop Off Location: 108 Street and Burbank Drive (South West corner of Sands Secondary School)

Drop off time: 10:00am

Check in with Jessica when you arrive. If you are dropping off swimmers, be prepared to meet them at 114th & 84th at approximately 12:30pm (depending on our position in the parade.)

Parade Start Time and Routing:

• The parade will start at 11:00am sharp, leaving from the Sands Parking lot at Wadham Dr. and 82nd Ave.
• Routing: eastbound along 82nd to 112th , Left on 112th, Right on 84th Ave. It will end with groups disbursing onto 114th street off 84th Ave.
• Once the parade is over, please disburse quickly off 114th to not delay road openings

NOTE: Ensure you are appropriately dressed for rain or shine (including sun protection and footwear.) Please ensure your group members bring water

During the parade - do not let any gap develop between you and the group in front of you. Keep moving, even if you are distributing items along the way.
